Dr. Lawrence has experience in providing strategic leadership in academic affairs, specifically in the areas of student success and retention. Furthermore, he possesses superb interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate both students and staff in the academic environment. Dr. Lawrence has an undying commitment to student success, particularly among students of color, and more specifically assisting students in reaching their academic abilities at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). He continues to seek professional growth in the area of academic affairs and student services.
