Co Founder @Open Data Services
Open Data Services is a co-operative to help people to publish and use open data.We are run as a workers\' co-operative, and lead the technical implementation of initiatives such as 360Giving, Open Contracting and Open Ownership.I have undertaken numerous transparency projects involving the IATI standard, including work with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), African Development Bank, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Commission. With the support of the co-operative, I also became Chair of the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) of IATI in November 2018 (more details under volunteering section)With 360Giving I have worked with organisations such as the Big Lottery, Sport England and Comic Relief, in order to ensure open data on their grant making activities.

I have a strong record in enabling use of technology with the public and third sectors.I have extensive experience in working with local, national and international government, NGO and multilateral agencies around open data - particularly in terms of practical and possible uses and implementations.I am also an active organiser of events, workshops and activities locally. I founded a CoderDojo for young people interested in computer coding, and co-convened Open Data Manchester.
