With 20 years of experience in sector leadership, organisational development, and fundraising, I bring energy and strategic oversight to my work. I’ve worked at large national charities in change leadership roles and spent several years as a management consultant supporting Board level teams with organisational change and strategic direction. Starting my career in corporate partnerships means I take a business-minded approach to running a charity, with exceptional stakeholder management at the heart of my work.As the CEO of The Aplastic Anaemia Trust, I led the only national UK charity dedicated to supporting everyone affected by this rare disease. During my time in this role, fundraised income doubled and I built a lively, engaged community and networks of health professionals. The AAT grew from strength to strength under my direction, with a team of smart, dedicated and collaborative people. I am passionate about tackling inequality in healthcare, and ensuring vulnerable groups have the support and information they need to navigate complex and often underfunded systems. I lead with compassion, energy and an especially high commitment to authentic engagement with the people I represent.
