ABOUT STEVIE DEGROFF
After a 9 career in digital media and advertising, Stevie pivoted to the legal and policy side of the technology industry. She is currently at the Colorado Attorney General\'s Office focused on privacy and cybersecurity regulation and enforcement, including drafting and implementing the regulations for the Colorado Privacy Act. Stevie also works on a myriad of issues in emerging technology such as artificial intelligence, algorithms, facial recognition, drones, and autonomous vehicles. Stevie has a robust pro bono practice that includes immigration, fair housing, and criminal justice reform work. She graduated from Stanford Law School, where her research focused on cybersecurity, privacy, and the impact of technology on civil rights and civil liberties. Editor-in-Chief of the Stanford Law and Technology Review and Professional Development/Alumna Relations Co-Chair for the Women of Stanford Law. Recipient of the Boston Chamber of Commerce 2016 Emerging Executive Award.
