The Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is the nonprofit, applied research division of the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). Founded in 1934 as the Engineering Experiment Station, GTRI has grown to more than employees, performing over $900 million of problem-solving research annually. GTRI\'s renowned researchers combine science, engineering, economics, policy, and technical expertise to solve complex problems for the U.S. federal government, state, and industry.Serves as the Deputy Director of Research for GTRI\'s Sensors and Intelligent Systems Directorate, one of two directorates within GTRI. Leads the advanced technology efforts of four GTRI research laboratories: the Advanced Concepts Laboratory, the Aerospace, Transportation and Advanced Systems Laboratory, the Sensors and Electromagnetic Applications Laboratory, and the Cybersecurity, Information Protection, and Hardware Evaluation Research Laboratory.
