WRc are pleased to be part of the growing RSK Group, being acquired in 2021. WRc continues to provide independent research and consultancy services operating across different sectors including water, environment, waste and resources and gas. My role within the company is very much a part time one now as I am semi-retired. I do though continue to support WRc as an Assessor for their Certifying Body scheme for In-situ Resin Lining of Water Mains (WIS 4-02-01) as well as providing infrastructure consultant advice on projects such as Yorkshire Water led Ofwat Water Breakthrough Challenge - Designer Liner; to deliver a cost effective lining solution that water companies can be confident in resulting in more relining being undertaken, and assisting with WRc Approved assessment schemes. I remain passionate about driving improvement, innovation and efficiencies to support the continuing transformation of the UK Water Sector, through my activities within WRc and through collaboration with water companies, consultants, contractors and professional bodies.I have been a member of the Institution of Water and an Incorporated Engineer since 1990. I completed my three years as NED and past Chair of British Water’s UK Forum in 2021 and remain a supporter of the association. Supporting UK supply chain in gaining greater visibility for their innovation, goods, works and services to UK & overseas water sector clients remains a key driver for me.
