Founded in 2005, FastMed is a true pioneer in the urgent care business with over 100 clinics in three states. FastMed is dedicated to providing patients with the best end-to-end healthcare experience in terms of quality, accessibility, affordability, and compassion. FastMed will become the first independent urgent care to utilize Epic\'s EHR system. I am certified in Epic Cadence and Prelude and a critical member on the build team, with a focus on RTE (Real-Time Eligibility). My priorities include assisting with development of the facility structure, scheduling, admissions, and several other functions related to patient registration. I am involved in helping setup many of the defaults and securities needed for Epic\'s structure and users within FastMed, such as various patient workqueues and referral workflows.
