As Editor-in-Chief I coordinate with my Editorial Director and the sales team to create our yearly editorial calendar. Using that as a road map, I develop stories and create assignments for our paid columnists, freelancers and other contributors. I edit all content and if need be revise or request revisions. I manage my freelancer budget and see that all invoices get paid. I usually work up a few articles of my own each month, as well as write my monthly editorial. All this to bring the most useful, engaging content to our readers. I work closely with my audience development manager to make sure the work we\'re doing has the greatest impact. I coordinate with my art director to produce the monthly print magazine and proof every page of editorial before it ships to the printer.I am the face of the brand at various trade shows and events, usually with members of our sales team at my side. I have been a presenter at events and moderated panel discussions.Along the way I handle the brand\'s website, ensuring a constant stream of fresh stories that will hold the attention of my readers, and hopefully help them in both the technical and business aspects of their work. I manage the brand\'s social media channels, build and deploy weekly e-newsletters, and create a monthly quiz.
