My role at Gosschalks has evolved in recent years. For the first 14 years I worked as the Head of IT, dealing with all facets of the firms technology development. Nowadays, my technology experience and knowledge dove-tails into the structured development of the firm and our service delivery model whilst much of the day to day technical support and management is handled by other members of my team.This change in role has allowed me to spend more time working with and learning from some great organisations and some outstanding individuals who lead the way in their respective fields. This is extremely rewarding for me as it opens the door for a more creative approach to my work which tends to generate the best results.A hugely rewarding part of my role involves managing Gosschalks award winning community engagement programme, working closely with our charity partners the Smile Foundation and leading Hull based CIC, For Entrepreneurs
