Completed 14 years service in the Armed Forces (Royal Corps of Signals), working continuously within a communications environment, leaving as Senior Non-Commissioned Officer (SSgt) with a specialist trade qualification of Yeoman of Signals (YofS). After leaving the Army worked over a 20 year period for a variety of mobile communications companies on various projects across the work on both bid-work, launch, rollout and most recently build.Successfully delivered an 18 month HLF funded heritage project for The Warrington Wolves Charitable Foundation (working part-time); including the recruitment, training and management of 25 new volunteers. Then worked full-time as Foundation Office Manager while continuing to manage community heritage projects as part of the role.Stepped back into telecoms working on the Scottish 4G infill Program (S4GI). Run by the Scottish Government, Scottish Futures Trust and also part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The project provides 4G coverage mainly to the Highlands & Islands in coverage black-spots. Then after 6 years moved to Jet Infrastructure as an Asset Controller playing a key role in ensuring accurate tracking, coordination, and management of all telecoms assets throughout the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
