About Steven Cao
Business analyst, but an engineer at heart.The kid that took the family phone apart and mostly putting it back together continues to break things as an adult, but now with the skills to not only fix it, but make it better. Ever curious and constantly learning, always trying to improve myself or anything that catches my attention, whether it be a process/dataset/dashboard or my computer/car/condo.My career is defined by my curiosity. As an analyst at Aflac, I saw the limits of Excel/VBA and learned SQL and Python. Those skills helped me get a job at Delta where I strived to be the SME on the data and technical processes. My holistic knowledge opened me up to do more ad-hoc projects and internal consultation where I developed an appreciation of enabling others to solve problems instead of giving them the answer. I joined the Asia Matrix team to improve my soft skills through supporting a group on the opposite side of the world. Finally, I joined Finance to utilize all the skills I\'ve gained while learning a completely different side of the business.When I\'m not on Wikipedia reading random articles, or Googling how to write the code I forgot, I\'m either building Lego, running on the Beltline, or practicing Yoga.
