I’m a transportation operator and urban planning professional with a passion for sustainable infrastructure development. During my 20+ years in the field I have• managed the City of Hoboken\'s Department of Transportation & Parking• led NYCDOT\'s efforts to rebuild in Lower Manhattan • spearheaded the transportation program for PlaNYC, New York\'s groundbreaking sustainability and infrastructure plan• pioneered programs to improve access to transit, neighborhood walkability, pedestrian safety, and to reduce auto-dependency• championed development of major transit investments like the Second Avenue Subway in New York• helped communities in Bosnia-Herzegovina restore war-damaged roads, bridges, schools, hospitals, and electrical infrastructureMy work is focused on planning, building, and managing transportation systems that center on livability and sustainable community development.    Lehigh Valley Planning Commission

   Jan 2026 — Present · Allentown, PA, US

   Responsible for the transportation planning program for the metropolitan planning organization for Lehigh and Northampton Counties in eastern Pennsylvania. Oversees development of the Long Range Transportation Plan in coordination with the Regional Comprehensive Plan and development of the Transportation Improvement Program. Leads major transportation studies and provides planning support to the Lehigh Valley’s municipalities, airport authority, and transit provider. Serves as staff liaison to The U.S. Dept of Transportation and Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
