I was responsible for developing business opportunities for Canis Television & Media and the Canis Group as a whole.Canis Group Ltd is one of the UK\'s leading broadcast services and television management companies providing a wide range of experience to independent, national and international broadcasters.From international television to commercial media and retail television, the Canis Group of companies is able to offer a one-stop shop service to a broad range of clientele not only in the UK but also internationally.Established over 10 years ago, the company has assisted numerous companies to achieve their objectives whilst providing impartial advice and consulting expertise within the broadcast and digital television industry.The multi-media divisions specialise in TV channel launches, playout and associated broadcast services, interim and full channel management, EPG selection and advice including the brokering of channel slots and production of content. Commercial forward thinking in the modern digital and satellite world is essential and we pride ourselves in being able to assist clients across the board in a fast moving environment.Successful partnerships and global client brands include Sky, BT Sport, Discovery, ITV, Channel4, ESPN, Sony, Freeview and Freesat. Clients span not only the UK but Europe, Middle East, South East Asia, Africa and the USA. The majority of foreign language channels looking to launch in the UK generally speak to the Canis Group first.Price Studios, a sister company, based in London is a studio complex consisting of two television studios, sound recording studio and rehearsal rooms and is also home to the Canis Groups production division and teleshopping channel TV Warehouse.

I began my career in 1966 initially as a performer and subsequently as head of progressive music and song plugger with Chappell music publishers.This was followed by a four-year engagement managing live acts and a chain of international discotheques.In 1974 I helped to set up one of the world\'s first video companies selling pre- recorded films and saw it grow to become one of the largest independent video distributors in the world.Progressing from video into the television industry producing, packaging and distributing television and video programmes and joined Trilion Pictures, later to become Span Pictures, a company that produced over 100 hours of programming that included rock & classical music concerts through to sports documentaries.I became an independent producer in 1992, producing an eclectic mix of programmes as varied as wildlife documentaries through to sport and comedy. I also represented other producers and licensed a variety of programmes to both video and TV worldwide.In 2002 I moved on to work in the creative services/agency industry and with William Martin Productions and subsequently moved on to agencies specialising in selling online and digital marketing solutions.2015 I returned to the entertainment business with Canis Television and Media and I began to get to grips with the massive disruption taking place in the broadcast television industry.2018 I became a freelance Broadcast & Digital Media Consultant and am actively helping a number of individual clients adapt to the new and ever-changing broadcast and digital landscape.2022 saw me step in to manage and help to manage various terrestrial, satellite and digital TV channels in the UK and I assist That\'s Media with the acquisition of content for their channels which include That\'s TV and music channels That\'s 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and Classic Hits. In addition, I manage TV Warehouse a teleshopping channel. I’m also Director of Broadcasting for Go Sports and Entertainment representing The British & Irish Boxing Authority (BIBA) and UK Wrestling.
