Built and managed a team of up to seven staff and specialists, while conceiving and executing all aspects of company’s development and growth, including strategy, brand development, product development and marketing communications. • Developed direct-to-consumer sales via Ohio Knitting Mills flagship retail store in New York, seasonal pop-up stores (4 total) in Cleveland, trunk show events in over 15 U.S. cities nationally, and at Distributed Ohio Knitting Mills apparel collections through +30 wholesale accounts nationally and in Japan. • Designed and produced full collections of knitwear, sweaters & accessories, over +5 seasons. • Cultivated product development partnerships with leading retail brands including: Urban Outfitters, Harley Davidson, Ron Herman, Conran Shops, Wolverine Worldwide, Design Within Reach, and Orvis. • Headed communication design including identity, business papers, photography, look books, sales collateral, advertising, packaging and web design. • Garnered wide enthusiastic attention in all media channels internationally; featured in such print media as Men’s Vogue, Metropolis, Country Living, Monocle, Madame Figaro Japan, Hong Kong Weekend, TimeOut New York, Lucky, Nylon Guys, Zagat’s Guide ‘Best of Brooklyn’; and web media as WGSN, PaperMag, D’ella Republica Italia, Daily Candy, DesignSponge, New York Magazine, Martha Stewart’s Bluelines, Fashionista, and numerous blogs internationally. • Authored The Ohio Knitting Mills Knitting Book, published by Artisan Books, 2010.
