I have been passionate about technology for as long as I can remember. My first experience writing code was for General Dynamics working as a member of their Electro-optics Lab Support team. I was fresh out of high school with government \"Confidential\" level security clearance and a white lab coat writing diagnostics for the Stinger POST missile system.I\'ve moved on since that time to work in the financial sector in New York, San Francisco, Washington DC and Los Angeles before eventually landing here in Salt Lake City, Utah. A strong advocate of the \"silicon slopes\" culture I\'ve worked with several rapidly growing companies in the area. I\'ve been told I\'m that rare type of person who has both technical expertise and people skills allowing me to bridge the communication gap between people and machines.I constantly look for ways to improve productivity and efficiency by leading technical projects that enhance our lives and add value and profitability. I led a team of web-developers to create the first Xyience.com website grossing just over $11M in sales the first year. I\'ve led an international, bi-lingual team of Tier 3 support engineers trouble-shooting SIP communications with a REST API written in.NET and for almost a year I was responsible for QA processes on several SaaS releases. I\'ve written web-based dashboards for a local hedge fund to monitor their asset portfolios and I\'ve architected and deployed cloud-based disaster recovery services for large, Utah corporations.Recently I completed an IBM certification in Data Science using Python, AI and Machine Learning. I\'m also working with Javascript, Node.js and Google\'s Paper to write a PWA mobile app. I use Agile methodologies and have a basic skills certification.
