About Steven Salaets
With more than 25 years of experience, Steven has led complex global environments across the US, Europe, and APAC. As CIO and EVP of Global Shared Services at Rimini Street, he was part of the leadership team that scaled the company through IPO and beyond, supporting a $450M+ run rate and 3,300+ clients. He owned enterprise IT, cybersecurity, compliance, HR, internal audit, and real estate. Integrating these functions into a unified operating model that enabled controlled growth, governance, and continuous execution. Today, Steven is the CEO of Safebox Technology, where he acts as the execution layer for organizations that have outgrown fragmented IT and vendor sprawl. Safebox replaces disconnected providers with a single partner that owns uptime, security, and operational performance, translating strategy into systems that work in practice.
