I\'m an accountant with 5+ years\' experience in governmental and public accounting spanning tax, audit, and digital transformation. Currently, I work in the Contra Costa County Auditor-Controller\'s Office where I review the fiscal integrity of public funds and seek to make the county government\'s financial reports understandable to the public.At the Auditor-Controller\'s Office, I specialize in Internal Audit where I examine the fiscal operations of county departments and elected offices, report on the county\'s federal awards expenditures, and prepare the county\'s Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). As current events impact the financial reporting landscape, I am thrilled to work with my colleagues in this challenging, dynamic environment.Outside the office, I volunteer my time on the Walnut Creek Planning Commission to move Walnut Creek forward in a world where our lifestyles are rapidly shifting. I love to keep up with current events, be it business, politics, technology, or cinema.
