Steven Finn is a food waste and sustainability expert and Vice President of Sustainability & Public Affairs at Leanpath, the global leader in automated food waste prevention systems for the foodservice sector. On the academic side, he teaches graduate courses on the food-water-energy nexus, fundamentals of sustainability, and innovation for sustainability in food systems at the University of Pennsylvania and Boston University. Steve has published multiple papers on the scope and scale of the global food waste challenge with a focus on halving food waste in accordance with SDG 12.3 to accelerate the needed food system transformation efforts to feed 10 billion citizens equitably by 2050 within planetary boundaries. He is also co-founder and Managing Director of ResponsEcology - a sustainability and change management firm helping organizations reduce waste and drive transformational culture change.
