About Steven Mathis

While Steven was a Senior in the Manufacturing Engineering Program at Texas State University in San Marcos I had the opportunity and pleasure to have Steven in the class I taught this semester on Plastics and Composites. Steven did very well in the class and was always on time, alert and prepared. He contributed nicely to the class discussions as well as in the question and answer sessions. He was always a deep thinker and kept on top of the lectures. He is a fast learner and shows a degree of maturity beyond his years. He interacted well with the other students in the class and has good presence and conversational skills that will be to his advantage in whatever endeavor he undertakes. He has solid leadership and management potential. I have started and run some significant companies and if I were doing that again I would not hesitate in hiring him to make things happen.
