Over the course of my 20+ year career, I’ve developed a skill set relevant to strategic planning and executing roles, including integration of software tools, process improvement, project management and change management. Within my operations management roles at Octal Extrusions, Valfilm North America, and previously with the Dow Chemical Co, I have been able to utilize my skills to execute business strategies to bring operations on line and raise them to a level of business contribution. I am proud to have received a Dow Technology Center Award for this work, and for my part in bringing a South American company to competitive operations in North America. I am proud to have been selected to be on the local economic development advisory board, and my involvement with community outreach. As an empathetic leader, I thrive on collaboration with all levels and functions of an organization. I strive to make the work environment fun with a purpose. As someone who can be reserved, I drive, and expect, analysis, planning, and data driven decision making. With my education in Mechanical and Materials Engineering, I rely on methodologies like Six Sigma and Lean to enhance root cause analysis, problem solving and streamlining. At this stage, I am looking to be a contributor to an organization seeking to build on performance improvements.
