In my 14 years of healthcare work, I have served in various roles, including direct care support, critical care bedside nursing, organ donation coordination, and nurse recruitment and retention. I am passionate about issues to support healthcare professionals such as DEI, safe staffing practices, and mental health awareness/well-being. I also strive to provide education and advocacy for underrepresented and sometimes controversial topics such as organ and tissue donation, mental health awareness, substance abuse disorders, safe needle exchange programs, HIV prevention and awareness, and LGBTQIA2S+ specific issues.
