I am CBO at Epitopea, a cancer immunotherapeutics company jointly headquartered in Montreal (Canada) and Cambridge (UK).With over 20 years of business development experience in industry and non-profit organisations across a variety of fields, including oncology, vaccines, and CNS-related indications, I bring an invaluable knowledge of the private sector and of private-public initiatives focused on drug discovery and development.Prior to joining Epitopea, I was Vice-President, Business Development at IRICoR, designated by the Canadian government as a Centre of Excellence in Research and Commercialization and a leader in the de-risking of early-stage assets in the field of drug discovery. In that role, I successfully closed transactions and managed agreements with an aggregate deal value of over $2B with a wide range of leading biopharmaceutical companies, including BMS, Ipsen, Abbvie, Merck, Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Domain Therapeutics, and Medigene. I was also instrumental in creating a number of spin-off companies from IRICoR, including ExCellThera, a clinical-stage cell therapy company.
