ABOUT STEVEN BERG
Dr. Berg is President and CEO at Aquanty Inc, and an Adjunct Associate Research Professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Waterloo. He received his BSc (2005), MSc (2007), and PhD (2011) degrees in Earth Sciences, all at the University of Waterloo and is currently pursuing a part-time MBA at Wilfrid Laurier University (2022). During his doctoral work, Steve developed extensive technical knowledge in the characterization of highly heterogeneous sites, and numerical modelling. In particular, he conducted the first fully three-dimensional field application of transient hydraulic tomography for mapping a highly heterogeneous glaciofluvial aquifer-aquitard system.
