Chandler, AZ, US

Lead engineering, automation, and technical systems development for aerospace and automotive fastener manufacturing, spanning cold, warm, and hot forming processes. Own end-to-end engineering execution from customer requirements intake through manufacturable design, analysis, tooling, quoting, and production readiness.Architect and lead development of the Electronic Technical Data Package (ETDP) System, an AI-assisted engineering automation platform that ingests customer drawings and specifications and generates complete, traceable internal technical data packages. The system integrates Python-based tooling, SQL-backed data models, and CAD systems to support automated quoting, manufacturability analysis, and downstream engineering decisions.Built and scaled the engineering organization using EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) principles, defining core functional groups aligned to process and automation engineering while establishing measurable execution rhythms and a safety-first, quality-driven engineering culture.

ABOUT STEVEN TRAVIS GOODYKE

I build and validate complex engineering systems and apply AI, automation, and data-driven analysis to make them measurable, repeatable, and defensible. My background spans defense and aerospace engineering across mechanical design, systems engineering, manufacturing, integration, and verification & validation (V&V). I’ve owned qualification programs, directed environmental and compliance testing, led cross-disciplinary engineering teams, and delivered technical decisions under stringent safety, reliability, and regulatory constraints.A core focus of my work is applied AI and engineering automation: designing software, analytics pipelines, and AI-assisted workflows that reduce ambiguity in testing, improve requirements traceability, and accelerate analysis of complex data sets. This includes signal processing, data acquisition, deterministic scoring models, and automated test and reporting systems used in high-stakes environments.Today, I’m building AI-enabled engineering products that bring transparency to opaque decision systems by applying the same rigor used in defense test and qualification to ATS analysis, resume parsing, keyword alignment, and workflow automation. My work emphasizes truthful optimization, ethical AI use, and verifiable outcomes.I’m particularly interested in collaborations involving AI-assisted systems, applied machine intelligence, engineering automation, testing infrastructure, and technical leadership either as a founder or consultant.
