I am a seasoned capital markets business head who has run and grown two taxable/tax-exempt sales & trading groups and public finance transaction banker who has led three public finance departments, and managed key financing services for Philadelphia\'s economic development agency.I have executed over $5+ billion in taxable and tax-exempt financings for project finance/P3s, retirement communities, healthcare, and higher education borrowers as a banker.I joined UBS in 2017 as Head of Municipal Trading (role expanded to include Taxable Trading) in connection with UBS\'s decision to re-enter the Public Finance business and grow the firm\'s overall wealth management and institutional municipal businesses. I expanded my role in 2019 as Head of Institutional Middle Markets. I also assumed the head of Public Finance role in 2022. Currently, I am winding down the public finance group due to UBS’ decision to exit this business. Prior to UBS, I was with Janney Montgomery Scott (Janney) for almost 10 years and was responsible for expanding and leading Fixed Income Capital Markets (FICM). FICM included Municipal Institutional Sales, Trading and Underwriting, Taxable Institutional Sales and Trading, Retail Municipal and Taxable Trading, Public Finance and Fixed Income Research and Strategy. Prior to Janney, I was a Senior Vice President, Financing Services Group at the Philadelphia Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC), the City of Philadelphia’s primary economic development agency. I led a 25-member finance staff and executed lending programs including New Markets Tax Credits, Small Business, Bond Financing, HUD 108, and EB-5.Before PIDC, I was the Managing Director in municipal investment banking at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. I have also held positions at Legg Mason Wood Walker, where I was the Co-Head of Municipal Investment Banking, A.H. Williams, and Lehman Brothers in New York.
