Directs 108 military, civilian and contracting personnel in synchronizing distance operational logistics support for two Pacific Fleet Zuwalt-class destroyers and 14 Littoral Combat Ships (LCS)- Ensures optimum logistics support to combatant commanders while maximizing ship’s readiness- Actively participates in the master planning delivery and logistics support for all future Zuwalt-class destroyers and LCSs destined for NBSD- Develops best practices amongst five Readiness Teams, the Food Service Branch, the LCS Mission Package Support Facility, the Material Management Branch, the Small Procurements and Operations Branch, the Plans and Policy Branch and the Quality Assurance and Metrics Branch to gain efficiencies across the Logistics Support Team (LST)- Engages with both internal and external FLCSD customers (FLCSD Departments, Ship’s Supply Officer, ISIC, Type Commander, NAVSUP, SWRMC, and Shipyard) to ensure operations are conducted within established SOPs and guidelines- Builds professional training range and depth within the LST through cross training practices to ensure logistics excellence- Ensures personnel are meeting qualification standards and encourages them to develop and achieve goals for personal/professional growth and advancement opportunities.
