About Steve Richey
As a learning operations leader and solutions architect, I help global training departments leverage technology, process, and people to maximize their business impact. With over 15 years of experience in the learning and development field, I have a proven track record of finding the sweet spot between innovation, efficiency, and quality. At Alteryx, I led the architecture, design, and implementation phases for a new customer-facing learning management system (LMS) that enhanced the user experience and increased engagement. I also supervised the daily operations of the team supporting the LMS, directing activities on process automation, data analysis, and metrics reporting. Previously, at Palo Alto Networks, I directed the webinar operations team that supported 40+ unique events per quarter with 10k+ viewers, implemented a video content management system with videos and 40k views per month, and optimized the operations of the LMS platform supporting 50k users and 500k annual registrations. I have a strong background in networking and engineering, holding a Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) credential and a Certificate in Online Teaching and Learning. I also received the CEdMA Innovation Award for leading the implementation of a highly scalable new learning resource application for NetApp. I am passionate about collaborating with business partners to design and implement scalable solutions tailored to the unique needs of core business functions, such as engineering, sales, professional services, and support. My mission is to enable learning organizations to achieve their strategic goals and deliver value to their stakeholders.
