I\'m a passionate, forward-thinking education leader with a proven track record of increasing student achievement and pioneering innovation in pedagogy, technology, and district operations. With over two decades of experience in New Jersey\'s public school systems, I\'ve led transformative initiatives that modernized learning environments, improved academic outcomes, and redefined what\'s possible in K-12 education.As the Founder and Chief Education Officer of Valemont Learning Consultants (VLC), I work with school districts, higher education institutions, and private-sector partners to solve today\'s most pressing educational and technological challenges. VLC is a boutique consulting firm delivering results-driven solutions to public, private, and charter schools, investors, and firms across the education venture capital, M&A, and private equity landscape. We provide strategic insights and market intelligence across the full investment lifecycle in the U.S. K-12 and higher education space.Previously, I served as Superintendent and Chief Education Officer of the Fort Lee Public Schools, a PreK-12 district with 3,800 students, six schools, and a $55M budget. I\'m especially proud of the work we did there- Increased student achievement and SAT scores- Passed a $30.2M bond referendum on the first attempt, after three previous failures, yielding nearly $10M in state aid- Eliminated over $2M in unnecessary spending through efficiency reforms- Directed $ 1 M+ purchase in new instructional materials, ensuring equity for all students for the first time in 29 years- Led the integration of Google Apps for Education, Chromebooks, online grading, digital evaluations, and a district-wide edtech strategy- Reinstated a full-time School Resource Officer and implemented critical school safety upgrades- Guided the district through moments of significant challenge, including the tragic loss of two studentsBefore Fort Lee, I was appointed Superintendent of the Hamburg School District at just 28 years old, becoming one of the youngest superintendents in US history. I also served as State Chair of the Technology Committee for the New Jersey Association of School Administrators (NJASA), where I championed innovation across the state and chaired Techspo, New Jersey\'s largest education technology conference.Today, I continue to serve as a consultant, strategist, and speaker, helping school systems, companies, and investors build the future of education.
