About Steven Combs

Dr. Steven Combs is currently the Interim Provost and Senior Vice President for Ivy Tech Community College. He previously served as the Chancellor for the Columbus campus and since joining the college in 1993, Dr. Combs has held the academic rank of full professor and has served as: design technology faculty, advanced manufacturing and industrial technology department chair, instructional technologist, dean for the school of applied science and engineering technology, vice chancellor for academic affairs and campus president. He is a 27-year military retiree, having served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Army.
