His provision work includes analysis of valuation allowances, fixed asset book/tax studies, tax account reconciliations, and preparing journal entries.Steven also reviews federal and state income tax returns, including extensions and estimated payments, for publicly-traded and privately-held companies in real estate, financial services, manufacturing and energy industries. His review includes analyzing financial statements, determining and calculating tax adjustments, and researching respective federal and state tax laws.In addition to serving his clients, Steven has been active in the development and leadership of our Dallas tax practice. He helps to lead our on-campus recruiting efforts at Baylor University. He is also an office lead for the Financial Reporting for Taxes Competency group and designated as Super-User for our audit software in the tax group. Steven also trains and supervises 50+ manager, seniors and staff within the local U.S. firm on compliance, provisions, and consulting-oriented projects.
