Since writing his first software program in 1980, and working in the field professionally since 1994, Steve decided that it was time to put his additional talents for mentoring and coaching to good use. He is now very busy training and guiding the next generation of software developers at Nashville Software School - the first non-profit coding school in America.Serving as Lead Instructor, Director of Curriculum, and Learning Experience Designer, Steve is ensuring that every student receives a current, comprehensive, and quality education in the practice of solving problems with software.He is also using his strong leadership and management experience to help build the most innovative and creative team of instructors in America - a team that is fully trained in each language we teach. He is deeply committed to producing the most competent developers and teammates of any school in existence.
