ABOUT STEVE GREENBERG
I currently do layout, design and web uploading for suburban weeklies of Outlook Newspapers in the Los Angeles area (now working remotely from Tempe, AZ), in addition to a long-standing freelance career of cartooning and illustration. My career responsibilities have included page design, ad design, editorial cartooning, illustration, copy editing, web uploading and infographics, using InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, NewsGate/CCI, Quark, PowerPoint and WordPress. I excel in conceptualizing and communicating information to readers quickly through graphics, drawings or words, with particular strength on environmental and scientific topics. I can write and edit, am skilled at retouching photos, and can create a wide range of graphic work. My editorial cartoons are currently featured on Crooksandliars.com and in publications including the Arizona Daily Star in Tucson, plus work for the Sierra Club, and have won dozens of regional and national awards.
