Burns & McDonnell is the Lead Designer for the Kiewit-Massman Joint Venture delivering the $540 million 30 Crossing project for the Arkansas Department of Transportation. The project widens I-30, replaces a 3,360 ft bridge over the Arkansas River, makes interchange improvements, and enhances mobility and walkability of downtown streets in Little Rock and North Little Rock. As the Project Director, I manage the project financials for the design, contracts with the JV and design subconsultants, develop and implement staffing plans that meet the technical and schedule demands, and focus on client and owner satisfaction with our team’s delivery. At our peak, over 100 design professionals were engaged in the delivery of our design scope which was completed on schedule in 16 months.
