Performs analysis, formulation and administration of multi-divisional and intra-cabinet policy planning with regard to efficient, sustainable energy solutions and strategies that minimize environmental impacts.• Oversees both energy projects and additional energy solutions developed under the State Energy Plan. • Manages actions as needed to carry out the State Energy Program to meet federal requirements and program initiatives for the encouragement of the use of low carbon energy resources, energy efficiency and lower environmental impacts.• Provides reports to agency heads, state legislature and the public on progress and accomplishments of projects as they relate to the Commonwealth and the impacts of the projects in relation to the overall goals of the State Energy Program.• Reports information and project updates to agency heads and recommends changes in work plans in relation to overall objectives.• Leads the Kentucky Hydrogen Working Group whose purpose is to work with partners to develop and construct hydrogen projects over the next decade enabling Kentucky\'s integration into a national hydrogen economy.
