About Steven Zumbo
I have been Vice President of Human Resources & Work Life Programs & Employee Events for MTV Networks since 1993. I am responsible for managing the work life programs as well as act as MTVN advocate regarding the health, welfare and retirement plans for more than employees in the United States.I joined MTV Networks in May of 1993 as a Benefits Administrator, and have held a number of positions with the company, including Benefits Manager (1995 to 1998) and Director of Benefits (1998 to 2001). Prior to joining MTV Networks, I spent seven years at Salomon Brothers Inc. as Benefits Manager and three years at the Bank of New York as Benefits Analyst. I am a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership’s “Leadership Development Program for HR Professionals,” and is currently pursuing certificates in Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Program (CEBS) and the Alliance for Work Life Professionals.Specialties: Functional subject matter expert for People Soft data conversion for Benefits and HRIS functions. Change management project lead at MTVN and member of the MTVN acquisition and freelance management teams
