About Steven Xu
I\'m a Sophomore student at Baruch College, obtaining my BBA in Computer Information Systems with a specialization in Cybersecurity. My fascination with cybersecurity stems from its crucial role in protecting individuals and organizations from cyber threats. I\'m actively involved with the Association of Information Technology (AIS) and the ISACA Cybersecurity Club at Baruch, both providing a breadth of knowledge in IT and cybersecurity. I\'ve also completed the Codepath Cybersecurity Cohort, earning a certification in the fundamentals of cybersecurity. Presently, I\'m gaining practical experience as an IT Hardware and Software Intern at CommonPoint Queens, where I oversee IT infrastructure and provide technical assistance. My future goal is to continue expanding my cybersecurity knowledge and certifications, with the ambition of transitioning from my current IT position to a dedicated cybersecurity role.
