ABOUT STEVEN WINGFIELD

Dr. Steven Wingfield is the CEO of Wave Dental Professionals, a leading Dental Service Organization (DSO) headquartered in Detroit, MI. With a distinguished career as an international speaker, consultant, and educator, he brings extensive expertise in clinical affairs, strategic growth, and practice operations. In his role at Wave Dental Professionals, Dr. Wingfield provides executive oversight, utilizing data-driven metrics to optimize business systems and clinical performance, ensuring the highest quality patient care.A graduate of Western Kentucky University with honors (Cum Laude) and a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Wingfield continued his education at the University of Louisville. There, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in and was honored as the Academy of Operative Dentistry’s Student of the Year.Dr. Wingfield began his career in the United States Navy Dental Corps, where he graduated with top honors from the Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program. His service earned him several accolades, including the Navy Commendation Medal and two Navy Achievement Medals.From 2004 to 2010, Dr. Wingfield served as Director of Education and Regional Professional Director for Nanston Dental Group. He also held leadership roles as Chief Operations Officer and later as President and Chief Dental Officer at Tralongo Dental for a combined 5 years. Additionally, he served as President & CEO of Dental Whale Practice Group for 5 years, guiding its growth and success.Dr. Wingfield has been an active member of several prestigious dental organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Georgia Academy of General Dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and a member of the Hinman Dental Society, North Georgia Dental Society, Georgia Dental Association, and the American Dental Association.
