Currently working within the ASK in the Early Careers team as a Leader - embedding company behaviours within the apprenticeship programme, overseeing and monitoring first year progression and any under 18s across site. Completed Assessor units 301, 302 and 303 and continuing for internal verifier qualification units 401, 402 & 403. 20+ candidate caseload to date and increasing. Taking an active role in the delivery of new apprenticeship standards, in particular level 3 technicians. Involvement in the delivery of End Point Assessment preparation and delivery for these including UK Spec Eng Tech and Viva Interviews. Recently been heavily involved in the development and delivery of Business Improvement Techniques at Level 2; working alongside Lean Learning Academy and Continuous Improvement team to design a suitable course.Previously I have worked as an aircraft electrician and wireman on different military aircraft; including the Hawk and Typhoon production programmes. I moved into a technician role working in Supportability for the integration team, this involved dealing with tight deadlines, dealing with any new business modifications for impact assessments and keeping track of how modifications were progressing in order to give a detailed response to any customer demands. In between jobs I travelled for 9 months including China, South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand - working on a mining site in Perth, Australia as manual labour. International opportunities are therefore something I would like to pursue in my future career. In my spare time I enjoy writing and keeping fit. I wrote a blog on my recent charity cycle from Land\'s End to John O Groats and found writing to be an enjoyable hobby alongside keeping fit and raising money for charity.
