I evaluate and design the repairs for buildings with envelope and structural issues. Diagnostic and forensic engineering tools are utilized, including non-destructive testing, to understand the problem and produce a solution that is durable and cost effective. My expertise comes from 35 years of experience in the welding, steel, sheet metal, construction, architecture and engineering professions, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ongoing study of building envelope performance. As a licensed Architect and Engineer, peer review services are often provided for building envelope designs in the DD and CD phases. Building envelope commissioning, construction observation services and performance testing are often provided before and during new construction.
