In my current role, I specialize in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for GIS (ESRI) application deployments. As a key member of a team serving the global GIS community, I provide both in-person and remote training sessions, ranging from brief lunchtime talks to full-day workshops. Utilizing ESRI portal technology, I make GIS training universally accessible, allowing new users to access training and workflows on-demand. I have extensive hands-on experience in GIS and have delivered training programs to hundreds of people at numerous oil and engineering companies. I have managed GIS projects and teams across various sectors in exploration/production, construction, environmental compliance, non-profits, telecommunications, and pipeline.    Working long-term contract at an international energy company. In my current role, I specialize in designing and delivering comprehensive training programs for GIS (ESRI) application deployments. As a key member of a team serving the global GIS community, I provide both in-person and remote training sessions, ranging from brief lunchtime talks to full-day workshops. Utilizing ESRI portal technology, I make GIS training universally accessible, allowing new users to access training and workflows on-demand.For training sessions, I design curriculum, build datasets, write documentation based on the goals identified through capability assessments. Once delivered, I conduct follow-up surveys to make sure training met or exceeded client expectations and needs.Our training programs have positively impacted end user knowledge, capability and confidence. We have seen a marked increase in user proficiency leading to more efficient and effective use of GIS tools across various departments. Feedback from participants consistently highlights the practical value and accessibility of our training, with many noting immediate improvements in their workflows and project outcomes. Collaborating closely with end users, managers, and executives, I adapt and adjust training to ensure shared focus and delivery alignment. Beyond training sessions, I build and maintain a comprehensive library of knowledge articles on ESRI and GIS products. These resources cover everything from GIS overviews to detailed technical workflows and best practices, all published in ServiceNOW.
