I believe that a city is not merely bricks and mortar, but a living, breathing entity created by people united in community.In 2009, during the height of a global recession, I founded what is now City Lifestyle with a simple but contrarian idea: while the world was pulling back, people needed connection and positivity more than ever. We launched our first publication, Leawood Lifestyle, with a mission to celebrate the good happening in our own backyards.What started as a single magazine in Kansas City has grown into one of the largest networks of local publications in the country and has now evolved into digital. Today, City Lifestyle operates in over 230+ markets nationwide, reaching millions of individuals monthly with a clear purpose: to engage, inspire, and connect.
