Civil Engineer, duties include serving as a senior engineer on a team developing and implementing Area Development Plans (ADPs) throughout all ERDCs facilities, including CRREL, CERL, Duck (North Carolina) and various labs at ERDC WES main campus located in Vicksburg. Provided and Civil engineering and Environmental engineering expertise to a team ensuring future construction projects at ERDC’s facilities met all permitting and compliance regulations. Involved with a team to ensure compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). Serves as a senior engineer developing and ensuring the implementation of ERDC’s Installation Energy and Water Plan (IEWP). Serves as the subject matter expert (SME) if the following areas of Environmental Engineering to support of divisions such as the Safety Environmental Management Office (SEMO) and the Directorate of Public Works (DPW); including Solid Waste, Air, NPDES, Pretreatment, Dam Safety, Underground Storage Tanks, Storm Water, Hazardous Waste, Waste Tires, and Asbestos and Lead Paints. Developing Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans for future new and ongoing construction. Serves as a senior engineer on a team to develop and implement Installation Development Plans (IDPs). Serves as a team member to relay information regarding future infrastructure projects to the Board of Deputy Directors (BODD) and the Infrastructure Board.
