I work on-location in Aberdeen as a cameraman, video editor and broadcast journalist. I have previously covered Tayside, Edinburgh/Lothian and Ayrshire for That\'s TV, and also worked in the studios in Glasgow and our headquarters in Media City UK, in Manchester. I\'m responsible for sourcing, filming and editing several news and sports pieces daily, and writing the script for our presenter in the studio for the Headline News programme. I also help with the production of our shows in Scotland and, when required, the rest of the UK. The content I produce covers a wide range of topics, however, there is a focus on politics, human interest, community stories, and sport. As an experienced journalist with a keen eye for a story, I will cover anything newsworthy if it interests our viewers.I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my content, and I am comfortable producing video packages, pieces to camera, or being on screen while conducting an interview. However, I tend to remain behind the camera when interviewing. I\'ve also featured occasionally on the programme in a presenting role. Regular interviewees include MPs, MSPs, and councillors, football managers, and celebrities.Other tasks include contributing to social media by uploading our content to various platforms - mainly Facebook, Twitter/X and LinkedIn. That\'s TV is broadcast UK-wide on Freeview, Channel 8, with the Scottish Headline News programme localised to five regions - Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Ayr. x.com/ThatsTVAberdeen
