   As the Director of Emergency Management and Public Safety, with a background as the Assistant Director of Safety & Security at the world-renowned Big Cedar Lodge, I oversee a team of 50+ security professionals and hold direct responsibility for a wide range of critical areas. These include risk mitigation, claims subrogation, contract negotiations, leadership development, strategic security innovations, event security planning and execution, and all safety and compliance operations. With a keen focus on ensuring the utmost safety and security for the resort\'s distinguished guests, world-class events, and conferences for global corporations, John has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining a robust security posture at Big Cedar Lodge.My achievements include developing the security framework for numerous extraordinary events. Most notably, playing a key role in the renowned Bass Pro Shop World Fishing Fair and Concerts for Conservation, a five-day celebration marking the 50th Anniversary of Bass Pro Shops. This extraordinary event hosted over attendees in Springfield, Missouri. Throughout my career with Big Cedar Lodge, I have consistently taken charge of security operations for high-caliber events. Notable examples include the Big Cedar Lodge Legends of Golf PGA Tournament, which he successfully organized for five consecutive years, and the PGA Charles Schwab Cup. Additionally, I have planned emergency management and security operations for the Bass Pro Shops US Open Bass Tournament, among many other incredible opportunities.My experience in orchestrating large-scale security operations, driving innovation, and maintaining the highest standards of safety continues to solidify my reputation as a trusted authority in the industry.
