As Senior Director, Product Design & UX, for the I\'m accountable for the design strategy, vision and execution across all end-to-end digital experiences for clients and sales staff for the Neiman Marcus Group’s two leading luxury retailers – Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman along with the internal tool used across all stores by Sales Associates, Connect.This involves working with other senior leaders and cross-functional team members across both retail brands to solve challenging and complex UX problems, create elegant and intuitive UI and deliver world-class experiences that meet the exacting standards of the modern luxury consumer while growing business and adoption of products and services across digital and in stores.I manage, hire and mentor large teams across each of the 3 business areas, growing the team but also helping to bring a test and learn culture to the group, being an advocate for client first design thinking and planning projects and resourcing to ensure goals are met and our products are moving forward quickly but with purpose.In my career to date I\'ve led re-designs, projects, major initiatives and teams for some of the world’s leading luxury retailers including Net-a-Porter, Matchesfashion, and Farfetch. In each case my primary goal has been to understand each client’s business requirements and brand personality then communicate this across channels while meeting the needs of their distinct customer bases, balancing beauty and utility to produce premium, engaging and highly usable products and experiences.
