About Steven Ortega
I am a senior studying Finance and Real Estate at the University of Illinois. This summer I will be joining Ambrose Property Group in the Capital Markets division in Indianapolis, Indiana.This past summer, I interned at Penwood Real Estate in Connecticut, rotating through Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Portfolio Management with a focus in industrial real estate. I underwrote an industrial acquisition in SoCal using ARGUS and Excel, conducted a quarterly valuation and a quarterly IRRs using ARGUS, and conducted thorough market and economic research on Southeast Florida as a potential target market. Outside of work, I also enjoy making content and doing food reviews on social media after being inspired by other creators on TikTok. Additionally, I like engaging in cardio, such as biking, running, and rowing, and I like to read. I am also interested in exploring law school and obtaining a J.D. to continue my pursuit of higher education.
