Research projects:Radiation Team Lead - NASA\'s High Altitude Student Payload (HASP) Flight Program (Jun. 2016 - Aug. 2018) • Designed and manufactured the Stratospheric Organisms and Radiation Analyzer (SORA) Payload• Designed cosmic ray coincidence detector and CAD model for use in flight• Tested and integrated UV photodiodes and MiniPIX radiation detector with flight computer in a thermal vacuum chamber• Sampled the air for microorganisms and analyzed cosmic particles in the stratosphere with a peak dosage rate of 0.05µGy/min during float Propulsion & Levitation Systems - SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition (Oct. 2017 – Jan. 2018)• Devised a unique concept for electric motor (EM) propulsion and passive magnetic levitation (maglev) system to maximize the velocity of a vehicle traveling in a near-vacuum environment• Simulated magnetic fields of various Halbach arrays, derived equations of motion and magnetic liftStudent organizations:The Astronomy Society at UH (ASUH), Co-founder, Webmaster (May 2016 – Nov. 2017).Society of Physics Students (SPS), Webmaster (Aug. 2016 – May 2017).
