For over 10 years now, I have been engrossed within the financial services sector at The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) starting in customer service and client operations roles followed by progressive leadership positions rooted in member services, communications, and operations management before transitioning into my current role as the Director of Business Operations and Product Owner over a multi-year enterprise technology project. My distinct, yet interrelated experience across technology, operations, and customer service gives me a distinct advantage in developing and executing business solutions that work for everyone involved – cross-functional teams, customers, and the industry as a whole. TECH SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT & IMPLEMENTATION: I have served as a product owner on mission-critical enterprise projects requiring end-to-end involvement with product management, business analysis, stakeholder coordination, risk management, financials, legal, operations, etc. The area of IT/tech evolution definitely interests me and I look forward to gaining deeper experience in this area for years to come. OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT: Because of my diverse experience across different departments and business functions, I am quite practiced at maintaining a 360 degree view on both product and business unit operations. Additionally, I see value in my ability to build a systems-driven culture that is well controlled, yet able to quickly adapt to ever-changing business needs and industry trends. CUSTOMER SERVICE DELIVERY & CLIENT OPERATIONS: The foundation of my career was focused on ensuring seamless customer service support to external clients ranging from small startups to Fortune 500 corporations.
