ABOUT STEVEN MARROCCO

Over 10 years\' experience with major media companies and brands. Senior-level editor, digital media creator, content strategist and investigative reporter with extensive experience breaking down complex subjects into easily readable content. As a digital media creator, I\'ve been voted the Most Valuable Player on my team for investigative work. In 2021, I was nominated for a Hashtag Sports Awards following an investigative piece on a fighter battling symptoms of brain trauma. In 2023, I developed a first-of-its-kind interactive quiz where readers tested their knowledge against professional MMA officials. My work has generated millions of page views and garnered follow-own coverage from other major mainstream outlets. As an editor, I helped streamline work processes by creating a style guide, maintaining staff schedules and conducting 1-1s for up to 3 direct reports. I also onboarded new employees and oversaw 40-70 weekly pieces of content through all production phases.
