   Create and implement transformation of operations to best-in-class, high performing supplier for toll ferrous and nonferrous coil processing services. Engage every employee in EHS, financial, and customer delight through Lean – Continuous Learning and constant communication. • Established Safety Committees to raise employee involvement, addressed OSHA Big 5 Manufacturing Exposures, Insurance Loss Control recommendations, and behavioral issues with practice tasks. • Provided justification, layout, specifications, and costs for the installation of a new Rotary Shear Cut-to-Length Line and ARKU Sheet Leveler. • Brokered a 15-year lease agreement for relocating the Chicago site. Developed the transition plan. • Drove Lean initiative including work standards, control plans, work cells, and KATA (small, structured scientific experiments), realizing continuous learning, improved quality, and resulting in lower costs and bigger contribution margins. • Created an 80/20 Pareto analysis of customers, established a priority system and protocols. • Created standard measures and metrics for general managers at four sites and weekly exception reporting. • Wrote KATA Vision Statements, trained, then had the workforce experiment to achieve the vision raising equipment utilization and lowering direct operating costs. • Researched and developed a new technology for Aluminum sheet non-directional mirror finish. • Updated the Employee Handbook for equal implementation across all sites. Recognized and implemented dual language (English/ Spanish) for all critical employee correspondence.
